ASMPT, a leading global semiconductor company, recognised that strong performance shaped by how managers lead. They wanted to move beyond traditional appraisal systems and build a performance culture where conversations about goals, feedback, and growth were ongoing, meaningful, and aligned with business priorities. To do that, they needed to equip their middle managers with more than just a framework. They needed to give them the mindset, language, and practical tools to lead with clarity, accountability, and care.
With over 1,200 managers spread across 10 countries, each with their own cultural norms, languages, and working styles, the challenge was significant. The company couldn’t afford a one-size-fits-all approach, nor could they deliver 10 entirely separate programmes. What they needed was a consistent, high-impact learning experience that respected local context while reinforcing a unified vision of performance management excellence.
Managers were often juggling operational demands, remote teams, and complex expectations. Many had never been formally trained to navigate tough conversations or to coach for growth. The client saw this as a critical opportunity, not only to standardise performance processes but also to empower their managers to lead with greater impact, communicate more effectively, and build teams that thrive on clarity, accountability, and shared goals.
This workshop helped me structure performance conversations with more confidence. The tools and case discussions were practical and relevant to our reality on the ground!
PPEARL designed and delivered a structured 1-day Performance Management Workshop tailored to the client’s existing PM cycle. The program was rolled out globally, covering Asia Pacific, North America, and Europe. Delivered in different languages through a combination of in-person and virtual formats, the workshop covered:

• Recognising and nurturing high performance
• Building a culture of continuous feedback and accountability
